For athletes ready to race with WYN republic in 2027 across triathlon and running/hybrid events. Team members commit to racing and representing WYN in the official 2027 team kit.
As a WYN racing team member, you’ll receive:

Frequently Asked Questions
If you are a 2026 WYN racing team member, you are automatically eligible to return to the team, BUT you must submit the application form to guarantee your place. We need to confirm your plans, get your feedback, and collect up-to-date information.
If you have previously been a part of the racing team (but not in 2026) please complete the application as a NEW team member (though we are thrilled to welcome you home)!
Yes, there is an annual membership fee that helps us cover WYN racing team event activation, meet up activities, and other costs involved with running a global racing team.
Yes. We are a racing team, and explicitly ask our team members to race only in WYN racing team or WYN custom kits on every race course.
We ask that all WYN racing team members who race events with Ironman be affiliated with our team in their system. This is a requirement for the team.
We recognize that endurance athletes of many stripes are a part of our community, and we want to formalize a way for those who do not (or no longer) race triathlon to remain formally a part of our racing team.
The Triathlon membership is for those who plan to race triathlons in 2026, and receive a WYN racing team triathlon suit.
The Run/Hybrid membership is for those who plan to race running, trail races, HYROX etc, or simply want to remain an active part of the WYN racing team community.
The key difference will be access to WYN racing team triathlon gear vs no access to triathlon gear.

The WYN racing ream program is an age-group based program ranging from beginners to elite amateurs. We treat everyone equally. We do not "sponsor" any athletes in this program. WYN republic has limited sponsorship budget to support a select few professional athletes. The WYN racing team program offers age-group athletes heavily discounted prices on official team apparel and on-going discounts on WYN orders.
No! We have a wide variety of athletes of all abilities. Whether you're an age group champion or a beginner, we want you on the team!
First and foremost, interact and thrive off the community that is the WYN racing team. We'd also expect you to be a good spokesperson for WYN republic in your local triathlon community.
Other expectations are:
- Race exclusively in the team kit
- Introduce new people to WYN republic and encourage them to apply for the WYN racing team.
- Race clean and within the rules and set a good example to others.
No, if you accept your place on the WYN racing team you may not race on behalf of any other industry teams. You may still participate with your local tri club or coaching group of course, although unless the team wears a WYN republic branded race kit, we expect each team member to race in the official team kit. You also must be registered as a part of the WYN racing team for any IRONMAN branded races.
Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age.
